Information we collect

• Enquiry details: your name, mobile number with country code, email address (optional), the products you are interested in and any notes you share when you fill in our Get started form.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or other channels.
• Account and billing details: when you sign up for a product, your business name, contact details, GST details and plan and payment history.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and approximate location, collected through hosting logs and analytics tools where enabled.
• Cookies: small files used to keep the site working and to measure how it is used. See Cookies and analytics.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, call you back and help you get started with a product;
• To provide, bill for and support the products you use;
• To send service messages about your account, orders or requests;
• To improve our website, products and customer experience;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit our form) or for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as providing a service you asked for or meeting a legal requirement. We do not sell your personal data.

Data we process for our customers

Techinnoverz Store

Merchants use Techinnoverz Store to run their online stores. We process their shoppers’ details (such as name, address, phone and order history) on the merchant’s behalf and under the merchant’s instructions. Payments are entered on and processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers. Shoppers should contact the merchant for questions about their own data.

Techinnoverz Verification API

Our business customers use the Verification API and Panel to verify identity, credit and business details — for example Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, driving licence, credit reports, bank accounts, GST and vehicle records. For these checks:

• Our customer decides why and whose data is checked, and is responsible for obtaining the individual’s consent and having a lawful purpose before running a check;
• We pass the details needed for each check to the relevant source — government systems through API Setu, credit bureaus, banks and other verification providers — and return the result to our customer;
• Verification results are returned to our customer once, at the time of the check, and are not stored by us for later retrieval. We keep only a transaction record — which check was run, when, and what was charged — for billing and to meet legal and regulatory requirements;
• Verification data is never used for marketing and never sold.

Sharing of information

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers who help us run our business — such as website hosting, cloud storage (including Google Workspace, where enquiries are recorded), email and messaging, analytics and payment processing (Razorpay);
• Verification sources, as described above, when our customers run checks;
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, when necessary;
• Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law.

Some providers may process data outside India. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected and the transfer is permitted under Indian law.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, to resolve disputes and to meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements. Enquiry data is normally kept for up to three years unless you become a customer or ask us to delete it sooner.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and, where enabled, to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as expected.

Your rights

Under Indian data protection law you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already done);
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to;
• Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected people and the authorities as required by law.

Children’s privacy

Our products are for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children (anyone under 18). If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our website links to other sites and services, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies before sharing personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell you about significant changes on this website or by email where appropriate.
