FAQ

Questions about the Verification API

What can I verify?

12 checks: identity and KYC (Aadhaar OTP, PAN, Voter ID, driving licence), credit reports from CIBIL, CRIF, Experian and Equifax, bank accounts by penny drop, GST registrations, and vehicle RC and challan records. CIBIL is live today; the rest are launching soon.

Do I need to write code?

No. Credit, risk and operations teams can run checks by hand in the no-code Panel and export results as CSV or PDF. Developers can use the same checks through the REST API.

How is it billed?

From a prepaid wallet. Each check has its own per-hit rate, and you are charged only when a record is found and returned. The same wallet works for the Panel and the API.

Am I charged for failed calls?

No. Failed calls, no-data responses and errors are never charged. If your wallet balance runs low, further calls are paused until you top up.

Can I get a refund on my wallet?

Wallet top-ups are final and cannot be refunded or withdrawn, so top up only what you plan to use. If a deduction looks wrong, contact us and we will review it.

Where does the data come from?

Government checks run through API Setu, the Government of India’s API gateway. Credit bureau, banking and other checks run through established providers.

Do you store verification results?

Results are returned to you once, at the time of the check, and are not stored for later retrieval. We keep only a transaction record — which check, when and what was charged — for billing and legal requirements.

Who is responsible for consent?

You run checks only for a lawful purpose and with the individual’s or business’s consent or another legal basis. See our Terms and Privacy Policy for details.
